The Kaweco Brass Sport is machined from a single piece of solid, untreated brass and hand-assembled in Nuremberg, Germany. It is the heaviest pen in the Kaweco Sport family at 44 grams, and that weight is entirely the point. Pick it up and you will feel the difference immediately. There is a grounded, purposeful quality to writing with solid brass that lighter pens simply cannot replicate.

The compact pocket design measures just 10.5 cm when capped, but post the oversized cap onto the barrel and it extends to a comfortable 13 cm writing length. Kaweco have been refining this clever "pocket to full-size" format since 1911, and it remains one of the most practical everyday carry designs in fountain pens today.
